RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi in Riyadh on Monday.During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities for their development in all fields, in line with the directives of the leaderships of the two countries. The ministers discussed the latest developments in the region. They reaffirmed the solidarity of the two kingdoms in confronting Iranian aggression against them and a number of Arab countries. The ministers rejected what constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness. They stressed their support for all measures that guarantee the protection of the sovereignty and security of states in accordance with international laws and conventions.The developments in Syria and Palestine also figured in their talks. They emphasized the need to stop Israeli violations, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip, and support efforts aimed at achieving security and stability and reducing escalation in the region.Undersecretary of the Ministry for Political Affairs Dr. Saud Al-Sati and Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Manal Radwan also attended the meeting.
