A manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) rose 8.9% in October 2025to 116.51 points, from 106.99 points a year earlier, according to data released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
GASTAT attributed the increase to higher activity in mining and quarrying, manufacturing, electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, as well as water supply, sewage, waste management and treatment activities.
The IPI measures the relative change in production quantities of materials and goods, tracking their transformation from raw materials to final consumable products for economic returns.
