Saudi Arabia’s non-oil trade surplus with GCC countries surges 288% YoY in October 2025
Saudi Arabia’s non-oil trade surplus with the GCC countries reached SAR 7.4 billion in October 2025, marking a 288% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
Total Saudi non-oil merchandise exports and re-exports to GCC countries rose to SAR 14.5 billion during October, up 78% YoY, according to data released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Non-oil exports during the period comprised SAR 10.5 billion in re-exports and around SAR 4 billion in national exports.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports from GCC countries amounted to SAR 7.1 billion in October, representing a 14% YoY increase.
The UAE accounted for the largest share of Saudi Arabia’s external trade, with the Kingdom posting a non-oil trade surplus of approximately SAR 5.37 billion with the country.
