Saudi Arabia’s non-oil trade surplus with the GCC countries reached SAR 5.84 billion in December 2025, rising 105% year-on-year (YoY).
Total Saudi non-oil merchandise exports and re-exports to GCC countries increased 43% YoY to SAR 13.1 billion in December, according to data released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Non-oil exports included re-exports worth SAR 10.3 billion and around SAR 2.86 billion in national exports during the same period.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports from GCC countries reached SAR 7.3 billion in December, up 15% YoY.
The UAE accounted for the largest share of Saudi Arabia’s external trade, as the Kingdom posted a non-oil trade surplus of about SAR 5.1 billion with the country.
