Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors approved appointing Nasr Aldin Baba as Acting CEO for a period of six months, after Sultan Abdulrauf resigned from the post.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the assignment was based on the Insurance Authority’s (IA) non-objection obtained on Feb. 6, noting that the board’s decision was made on Jan. 21.

Baba holds a master’s degree in business administration from Eton University, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from King Abdulaziz University. He has more than 16 years of experience in various sectors. He also currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Saudi Enaya, the statement added.

In December 2024, the insurer’s board of directors accepted the resignation ofSultan Abdulrauffrom his positions as CEO and board member as well as his roles in the executive and investment committees upon personal reasons, Argaamreported.
