RIYADH — Saudi Arabia expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks targeting the Riyadh region and the Eastern Province, which were intercepted by the Kingdom’s defenses.In a statement, the Kingdom said the attacks cannot be justified under any pretext or in any form, noting that they occurred despite Iran being aware that Saudi Arabia had affirmed it would not allow its airspace or territory to be used to target Iran.In light of what it described as unjustified aggression, Saudi Arabia stressed that it will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory, citizens and residents, including the option of responding to the attack.
