A Cabinet session
The Saudi Cabinet, in its session chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman today, approved a number of decisions, as follows:
– Approving the organization of the World Energy Council Executive Assembly and Conference between the World Energy Council and the Saudi Ministry of Energy.
– Extending for one year, effective as of Safar 20, 1446 AH, the provision stated in Paragraph (A) of Item (First) of Royal Order No. (M/14), dated Safar 22, 1440 AH, which stipulates that (in labor lawsuits, before a case can be filed in the Labor Court, it must first be submitted to the Labor Office to take the necessary steps to resolve the dispute amicably).
– Transferring the licensing authority “to practice the profession of administrative consulting for individuals” from the Ministry of Commerce to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, to be included in the freelance work documents. The Ministry of Commerce will continue to exercise the authority to issue the aforementioned licenses for a period of six months.
– Approval to amend Article (nine) of the Saudi Building Code Implementation Law, by adding the following phrase to it: “The occupancy certificate is a basic condition for the full release of electricity.”
