RIYADH — Saudi Arabia condemned in the strongest terms the heinous Iranian attacks targeting a camp belonging to the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, as well as a power and water desalination plant in Kuwait. The attack resulted in injuries to a number of Kuwaiti Armed Forces personnel. In a statement, Saudi Arabia emphasized that these cowardly attempts by Iran and its blatant conduct toward the countries of the region confirm the continuation of an unjustifiable hostile approach under any circumstances. “Such actions constitute a clear violation of international laws and norms, as well as the principles of good neighborliness, and risk further escalation in the region,” the statement said. The Kingdom expressed its sincere wishes for a swift recovery for the injured, and prayed God for the continued safety and security of Kuwait, its leadership and people.
