RIYADH — Visa exemptions for travel between Saudi Arabia and Russia will take effect on May 11, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday.The agreement, first announced on Dec. 1, 2025, allows citizens of both countries to travel to each other without a visa.Under the deal, travelers can stay for up to 90 days, either continuously or intermittently, within a single year.The exemption applies to visits for tourism, business, and family purposes.The ministry clarified that the visa-free arrangement does not cover travel for work, study, residency, or Hajj, and that appropriate visas must be obtained for those purposes.
