RIYADH — Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed on Monday five drones that were targeting Prince Sultan Air Base in the Riyadh region.Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, announced the interception and destruction of five drones near Prince Sultan Air Base, south of Riyadh, in addition to two drones that attempted to attack the Ras Tanura oil refinery in the Eastern Province.Maj. Gen. Al-Maliki announced the interception of two drones that attempted to attack the Ras Tanura refinery.A small fire broke out at the refinery due to debris falling near civilian areas during the interception, but no injuries were reported.
