Saudi Arabian defense forces intercepted and destroyed 23 drones in the Eastern Province, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Turki Al-Maliki, said on Thursday. 
Four drones were also intercepted in the Rub’ al Khali (Empty Quarter) while heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field.
Another drone was shot down while attempting to approach the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh.
