RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, resulting in the death and injury of a number of people.In a statement, the ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s firm stance rejecting the targeting of places of worship, the intimidation of innocent civilians, and the shedding of innocent blood. It stressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Pakistan against all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism.The ministry offered its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Pakistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. A suicide bomber killed at least 31 people and wounded almost 170 others during Friday prayers at Imambargah Khadijah-tul-Kubra in the Tarlai area of Islamabad, officials said.
