Saudi Arabia condemns attacks targeting residences of Iraqi Kurdish leaders

RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the attacks targeting the residences of President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Nechirvan Barzani and Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Masoud Barzani, as well as all attacks targeting Iraqi Kurdistan.The ministry said in a statement that Saudi Arabia reiterates its rejection of anything that threatens the security and stability of Iraq. The Kingdom affirmed its solidarity with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as well as its support for their security and stability.
