Saudi Arabian Refineries Co.’s (SARCO) board of directors approved today, Oct. 23, the request of the CEO, Abdulrahman Al-Mufarreh, to terminate his contractual relationship as CEO of the company by mutual consent effective immediately, due to personal circumstances.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that he will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors.
The company will announce any developments in the event of the appointment or assignment of a new CEO in due course, the statement added.
According to data available on Argaam, Al-Mufarreh was appointed as SARCO’s CEO in January 2024.
