Saudi Public Transport Co.’s (SAPTCO) board approved today, March 17, the establishment of two limited liability subsidiaries. 
The first subsidiary, to be 100%-owned, will be named Maraab Auto Maintenance Co. and will operate in the field of vehicle maintenance, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Meanwhile, the second subsidiary will also be 100%-owned and will operate in the field of driving schools.
SAPTCO indicated that this move aligns with its strategy to grow and develop its business, while diversifying its revenue sources.
The move is still subject to obtaining the necessary approvals and licenses from the relevant authorities, the company noted.
