SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co. signed a strategic agreement with Saudi Post Corp. (SPL) to provide ground handling services for postal shipments and commercial parcels.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said it will oversee all postal handling operations from receipt of shipments to delivery, including preparing dedicated mail loading units, ensuring shipment safety during storage and transport, and managing transfers between warehouses, postal facilities, and aircraft.

The company added that the contract was awarded and signed on Oct. 12, for a duration of 12 months. All required documents were completed, and final copies were received on October 13, 2025.

It noted that the final contract value will depend on service demand and the rates set in the agreement, expecting a positive impact on its financial results starting from Q4 2025.

The company said the agreement aims to improve express mail efficiency and service flow, enhance integration between the postal and logistics sectors in the Kingdom, and strengthen mail handling and transport operations across all regions.
