In a press release, issued as part of the 19th annual GPCA Forum, Al-Fageeh underscored the importance of deepening strategic partnerships worldwide, describing such public–private collaborations as a key catalyst for growth.

Cooperation is no longer optional but a necessity to support economic and social resilience, production efficiency, and long-term industrial growth, he noted.

The petrochemical sector represents a fundamental pillar of economic diversification, he said, adding that it contributes roughly one-third of the manufacturing sector’s value in GCC countries and more than 4% of their gross domestic product (GDP).
