Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center launched the Osoul program, a transformative initiative aimed at developing and organizing the infrastructure ecosystem in Riyadh.
The program includes nine initiatives focused on regulating the infrastructure sector, enhancing the efficiency of planning and execution, and improving the overall quality of works.
In a statement posted on X, the center noted that the program is expected to positively impact the urban landscape of Riyadh, enhance quality of life, and increase residents’ satisfaction across the city.
The center explained that the Osoul program initiatives are divided into core initiatives and enabling initiatives. The core initiatives include enhancing the readiness of residential master plans, establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework for the sector, and implementing a technical accreditation system for contractors.
Meanwhile, the enabling initiatives include geospatial verification of assets, satellite-based compliance monitoring, the development of trenchless neighborhoods, the preparation of a technical terminology guide, automation of incident-related procedures, and efforts to reduce environmental pollution.
