Tayseer Al-Mufarrej, Spokesperson of Real Estate General Authority (REGA), said that since the implementation of the Real Estate Brokerage Law (from July 18, 2023 to July 18, 2025), the authority has recorded several positive indicators in the brokerage sector, most notably property transactions valued at approximately SAR 1.2 trillion, resulting from over eight million real estate deals. 
In his opening remarks at the Real Estate Brokerage Forum 2025, Al-Mufarrej noted that the number of licensed real estate brokers exceeded 86,000, alongside 75 licensed digital platforms hosting 685,000 real estate listings.
He pointed out that the Real Estate Brokerage Law fundamentally transformed the structure of the sector by regulating brokerage as a licensed profession governed by clear rules, responsibilities, and obligations. These figures reflect the scale of the Saudi real estate market and the growing confidence of both local and international investors.
