RATIO says Commercial Ad Hoc Arbitration Panel dismisses franchisee claims

Ratio Specialty Company for Trading (RATIO) said the Commercial Ad Hoc Arbitration Panel issued its ruling in a case filed by a franchise client against the company.

The panel dismissed all claims brought by the franchisee, terminated the franchise agreement, and ordered the franchisee to pay SAR 1.07 million in dues owed to RATIO, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Dec. 9.

Both parties were ordered to split arbitration and expert fees equally, it added.
