MADINAH — The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the Ramadan visiting schedule for Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah at the Prophet’s Mosque.Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah is the sacred area located between the home of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) — now his noble chamber — and his minbar (pulpit). For the first 20 days of Ramadan, men may visit from 11:20 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Women’s visiting hours during this period will be from 11:00 p.m. to 1:40 a.m. and from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.During the final 10 days of the holy month, the schedule will be adjusted. Men will have three visiting periods — from 11:20 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Women will be allocated a morning slot from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.Although modest in size at approximately 330 square meters within the Prophet’s Mosque, the site holds deep spiritual significance. It is described as “a garden from the gardens of Paradise,” and millions of Muslims seek to pray there each year.Authorities emphasized that visits must be booked in advance through the Nusuk app to ensure a smooth, organized and tranquil experience for worshippers.
