DOHA — Qatari authorities said Tuesday they had dismantled two cells operating on behalf of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and arrested 10 suspects on charges of espionage and sabotage.According to a statement carried by Qatar News Agency (QNA), precision monitoring and tracking operations led to the arrest of seven individuals tasked with gathering intelligence on vital and military infrastructure, along with three others assigned to carry out sabotage activities and trained in the use of drones.Authorities said the suspects were found in possession of locations and coordinates of sensitive facilities, as well as communication devices and technological equipment.During investigations, the detainees allegedly confessed to links with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and said they had been assigned to conduct espionage and subversion missions.The State Security agency urged citizens and residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions following large-scale US-Israeli strikes on Iran and subsequent retaliatory attacks across the region.
