MADINAH — The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched an intensive Quran review and recitation-correction program for itikaf participants at the Prophet’s Mosque. The initiative is part of the presidency’s educational and awareness programs during the holy month of Ramadan, aimed at promoting the study of the Holy Quran. The program enables itikaf participants to review their Quran memorization and refine their recitation in accordance with the rules of tajweed — including recitation style — under the supervision of specialized Quran instructors. The initiative seeks to further enrich the spiritual and scholarly atmosphere of the Prophet’s Mosque during the itikaf season. The presidency noted that the program is among a range of educational and Quran-focused initiatives offered to serve visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and enhance their spiritual and learning experience during Ramadan.
