Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) is in talks with Italy’s Export Credit Agency (SACE) to obtain $3.1 billion worth of loan guarantees, Bloomberg reported, citing informed sources. 
The sources added that if the deal goes through, SACE will be providing guarantees to a consortium of international banks, which will then be responsible for lending PIF.
