RIYADH — In implementation of directives from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Pakistani conjoined twins Sufyan and Yusuf arrived Monday at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh accompanied by their family.The twins were immediately transferred to King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital at the Ministry of National Guard to evaluate their condition and assess the possibility of a separation surgery.Royal Court adviser and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, and head of the medical and surgical team of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, expressed appreciation to the leadership for the humanitarian initiative.He said the program reflects Saudi Arabia’s medical leadership and its humanitarian role in caring for children from around the world with complex medical conditions.Dr. Al-Rabeeah added that the accumulated expertise and specialized achievements of the Saudi medical team in conjoined twin separation surgeries have reinforced the Kingdom’s position as an advanced global reference in the field and a source of hope for families seeking treatment for their children.The twins’ family expressed gratitude to the Kingdom’s leadership and people for the warm reception and swift response to their case.
