MUSCAT — Oman’s Foreign Ministry said Sunday that recent attacks targeting the country have not been claimed by any party, adding that authorities are investigating their source and motives.In a statement, the ministry described the attacks as “treacherous and cowardly” and reaffirmed the Sultanate’s condemnation of ongoing violence and military targeting across the region.It said Oman remains committed to its policy of “active neutrality,” calling for peace, security, and stability across the region.The ministry urged an end to the conflict and a return to dialogue and diplomacy to address the root causes of tensions and safeguard regional stability.On Saturday, two drones targeted Salalah Port, injuring one expatriate worker and causing limited damage to a crane, according to Oman News Agency.Separately, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it targeted a U.S. vessel at a distance from the port, adding that it respects Oman’s sovereignty.
