The number of Umrah performers reached 35.68 million in 2024, data released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed. 
In detail, Saudi Arabia received nearly 16.80 million foreign Umrah performers (47%of the total) and 18.88 million domestic performers (53%of the total), respectively in 2024.
