KIGALI — Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Mohammed Al-Issa delivered the Friday sermon and led worshipers in prayer at the Grand Mosque in Kigali, capital of Rwanda. During the sermon, Sheikh Al-Issa dealt with contemporary Islamic issues. He also extended his congratulations to worshipers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.The sermon underscored a range of Islamic values that guide Muslims in their interactions with others, emphasizing that these values reflect the noble character with which Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent. During the current visit to Rwanda, Sheikh Al-Issa attended the graduation ceremony of 70,000 male and female memorizers of the Holy Qur’an, held in Kigali, in the presence of numerous ministers, officials, scholars, and a large gathering of students.
