MSCI Inc, the provider of research-based indexes and analytics, announced the results of its periodic review, adding Al Majed Oud Co., to the MSCI Saudi Arabia Small Cap Index. 
Meanwhile, the index excluded Advanced Petrochemical Co. and Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) from MSCI Global Standard Index and they were added to the small cap index. The Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (MARAFIQ) was also excluded from the MSCI Global Standard Index.
Accordingly, the total number of constituents on the small cap index stood at 88, while the number of the companies included in the MSCI Global Standard Index reached 40.
MSCI will implement the changes by the close of trading on Nov. 27, 2024, as Feb. 28 will fall on Friday.
