ABU DHABI — Debris from an intercepted ballistic missile fell in the Al Shawamekh area of Abu Dhabi on Sunday, injuring an Indian national, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office.Authorities said emergency teams responded promptly following the incident, which occurred after air defense systems successfully intercepted the incoming missile.The UAE Ministry of Defense had earlier confirmed that its air defenses were actively countering missile and drone threats launched from Iran, noting that explosions heard across the country were the result of interception operations.The UAE has faced repeated Iranian strikes since US-Israeli attacks on Iran began on Feb. 28, with multiple interception incidents reported in recent days.
