‎MC4 constructs flour mill, feed plant in Al-Kharj worth 265M

Fourth Milling Co.’s (MC4)board of directors decided, on April 30, 2025, to establish a new flour mill and feed plant in Al-Kharj, Riyadh, with an estimated cost of approximately SAR 265 million.

The company stated in a Tadawul disclosure that the new mill will boost flour production capacity by 750 tons per day, bringing the total output of the Al-Kharj plant to 1,350 tons per day. The new feed mill will have a production capacity of approximately 240 tons per day.

MC4 had received approval from the General Food Security Authority (GFSA) for this ambitious expansion of its production capacity.

The project will be financed through Shariah-compliant bank facilities and the company’s available operational cash flows, it noted.

The project is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2025, following the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

The company estimates the project to have a positive financial impact after commercial operations begin, as the feed mill is anticipated to be completed in H2 2026, while the flour mill is expected to be completed in H2 2027.

The Saudi-listed firm stated that trial production for the feed mill is expected to begin in H1 2026, while the flour mill to start in H1 2027, highlighting that the trial production phase will last one month from the start of operations.

The company added that the executing party will be announced upon signing, and that there are no related parties involved as of the announcement date.
