Saudi Arabian banknotes
Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose 11% to SAR2.75 trillion inMarch 2024, compared to nearlySAR 2.48 trillion in March 2023, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). 
Private sector lending also increased 10% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR2.59trillion for the same month.
Meanwhile, loans granted to non-financial government institutions jumped 21% YoY to about SAR 157.5 billion by the end of March.
