TEHRAN — Israeli Air Force struck oil storage depots and refining facilities in Tehran on Saturday evening, according to KAN.The strikes mark the first time Israel has targeted such energy facilities in the Iranian capital since launching a broader attack on Iran last week alongside the United States.In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces said it had begun a new wave of strikes targeting infrastructure in Tehran.KAN reported that the Israeli Air Force specifically targeted oil storage depots and refining facilities in the capital.Meanwhile, Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency said explosions were heard in Tehran following the strikes.In response to the attack on the Tehran refinery, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said missiles struck the Haifa Oil Refinery, according to Fars News Agency.
