The international rig count decreased by 71 units year-on-year (YoY), but rose by 46 month-on-month (MoM) in February to1,741, data of energy services firm Baker Hughes showed.

The oil rigs in the Middle East were flat MoM at 346, despite a YoY decline of three.

The international rig count, except for the US and Canada, remained unchanged MoM at 905, but declined by 53 units YoY.
