Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 93 new industrial licenses in March. Investments linked to these new licenses amount to SAR 5.1 billion, with the related projects expected to create over 1,260 job opportunities across the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, 109 new factories began production in March, with SAR 2.6 billion investments and 1,766 estimated job opportunities, it added, in a post on “X” platform.
The ministry also noted that the number of existing industrial facilities rose to 12,067 by the end of March, an increase of more than 8% compared to 11,143 facilities in the same period a year ago, and compared to 11,988 facilities last February.
