The financial market has witnessed the injection of approximately SAR 46.6 billion into housing programs, thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Finance and the Saudi Central Bank in supporting liquidity, Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail said.
During a session at the 2026 Budget Forum, the minister explained that the housing ecosystem will have served more than 1.2 million beneficiaries of housing programs by the end of 2025, while 920,000 families have moved into their homes.
The current year witnessed more than 90,000 beneficiaries signing contracts for housing investments, he added.
According to the minister, the build-to-rent programs under the Real Estate Balance Program saw the signing of more than 20,000 contracts. The ministry will continue to supply more than 60,000 housing units to these programs, and next year the ministry will supply more than 100,000 housing units for off-plan sales programs.
