Government entities were net buyers of SAR 7.25 billion worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in the week ended Sept. 18, during which the Public Investment Fund (PIF) completed the acquisition of a 54% stake in MBC Group.
Foreigners were net buyers of shares worth nearly SAR 1.1 billion. FTSE Russell implemented its changes in the Saudi market during the week, based on its semi-annual periodic review of its indices, recent data by Tadawul showed.
Meanwhile, Saudi corporates, individual investors and high-net-worth investors were net sellers of shares worth around SAR 6.45 billion, SAR 528 million, and SAR 795 million, respectively.
