The GCC marketsdemonstratedmixed performance in the first half of 2025, with four out of the seven tracked markets ending the period six-month in the green. Boursa Kuwait led the gains, jumping 17%, or 1,349 points, to close at 9,188,a special report by Argaam showed.
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ranked second, gaining 11%, or 547 points, to end at 5,706 year to date. The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) took the third place, adding nearly 539 points (+6%) to 9,958.
On the negative side, the Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) was the biggest drag in H1 2025, shedding 7%, or 873 points. It was followed by Bahrain Bourse and Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX), which fell by about 2% each.
