The General Authority for Competition (GAC) announced today, Sept. 2, that it issued 23 decisions regarding economic concentration requests received during August 2025.
In a statement, the authority explained that these decisions included Naseej International Trading Co.’s previously announced acquisition of Etmam Arabia Construction Co.
Out of the total, 21 decisions related to acquisitions, while one approval was granted for a joint venture between Industrial Solutions Co. and Gorica Industries to manufacture vehicle parts, in addition to one approval for a merger between two Swiss companies.
Among the most notable approved deals was FIM Partners KSA’s full acquisition of Ala Kaifak Trading Co., as well as Sela Co.’s acquisition of a 35% stake in Waqt Akbar Advertising Co.
