RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan attended joint ministerial meeting among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, the Russian Federation, and Jordan via a video conference on Monday.The meeting, chaired by Dr. Abdulatif Al-Zayani, Bahrain’s foreign minister and current chairman of the Ministerial Council, focused on the repercussions of Iranian attacks in the region.During the meeting, the foreign ministers discussed the latest developments regarding the repercussions of escalation on the GCC countries and Jordan, as well as the evolving regional situation. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation on these issues.Those who attended the meeting include Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, GCC foreign ministers, and Jassim Albudaiwi, secretary general of GCC.
