Tadawul trading screen
Foreign institutions were net sellers of SAR 457.1 million worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) during three sessions in the week ended March 16 because of Eid Al-Fitr Holiday.
They accounted for 41% of total buy transactions in TASI, compared to 46% of total sell trades.
Meanwhile, foreign individual investors were net buyers of shares worth about SAR 378 million.
According to Tadawul’s weekly report on ownership value and trading value, purchase trades by foreign individual investors totaled around SAR 541.6 million, accounting for 5.8% of total turnover, compared to direct sales worth SAR 163.6 million.
Saudi corporate investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 234 million, while mutual funds and government entities were net buyers of SAR 241.1 million and SAR 513.2 million, respectively.
