First Mills seeks to increase board members from seven to eight

First Milling Co.’s (First Mills) board of directors recommended, on Dec. 11, to amend the company’s bylaws to increase the number of board members from seven to eight.

This amendment comes as part of the company’s commitment to enhance the diversity of expertise and skills within the board, ensure targeted growth and support the company’s expansion strategies for the upcoming phase, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The company affirmed its commitment to completing all required procedures and approvals from the relevant authorities. This recommendation will be presented at the upcoming shareholders’ meeting, the date of which will be announced later, the statement added.
