Mohammed ElKuwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA), stated that the Saudi financial sector is experiencing changes in products, channels, and new regulations, as well as its increasing connectivity with other economic sectors.

At the Financial Academy Forum (FAF 2024) launched in Riyadh today Oct. 11, ElKuwaiz added that the financial sector has great objectives, indicating that there is still a lot to do and invest to upgrade the sector and the Saudi economy.

Since its establishment in 2020, the Financial Academy (FA) has trained more than 50,000 trainees from the financial sector. It provided more than 49 qualifying programs and tests, through which approximately 90,000 people working in the financial sector have qualified. The FA established partnerships with the most prominent educational and training entities across the world.

ElKuwaiz pointed out that FAF 2024 contributes to learning from the challenges and opportunities in the sector, especially in the training of human cadres.
