Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co.’s board of directors approved the acquisition of a 40% stake in National Excellence Company for Data Centers through subscribing in the latter’s capital increase with a sum of SAR 400,000, according to a statement to Tadawul.

National Excellence Company for Data Centers is wholly owned by Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS).

The ownership structure will be as follows; MIS will maintain 60% of the National Excellence Co., while Edarat will own the remaining 40%.

The transaction will be financed through internal resources, the statement added.

This investment represents a promising opportunity to enter the data center management and operations sector, thereby strengthening Edarat’s market position and supporting its future business growth.
