DUBAI — A drone strike caused a limited fire in the vicinity of the US Consulate in Dubai on Tuesday evening, local authorities said.In a statement posted on X, the Dubai Media Office said relevant teams swiftly extinguished the blaze.No injuries were reported.The incident comes amid escalating regional tensions following large-scale US-Israeli strikes on Iran on Saturday, which reportedly killed nearly 800 people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior military officials.Tehran has since retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries hosting US assets.
