Drone intercepted and destroyed east of Al-Jouf Region

RIYADH — Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, said that Saudi air defense systems intercepted and destroyed on Thursday a drone east of Al-Jouf Region in northern Saudi Arabia.Earlier on the day, the spokesman revealed that air defense forces intercepted and destroyed three cruise missiles and three drones near Al-Kharj, about 80 kilometers southeast of Riyadh. Saudi Arabia expressed its rejection and condemnation in the strongest terms of the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks targeting Saudi regions such as Riyadh and the Eastern Province. Saudi Arabia considers these attacks unjustifiable under any pretext or in any form. The Kingdom called upon the international community to strongly condemn these attacks, given their serious repercussions for regional and international peace.
