Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz emphasized the importance of maintaining Red Sea security. He added that freedom of navigation is an international demand related to all interests, calling for the need to cease activities affecting security and safety of maritime navigation. 
In his speech at the 33rd session of the Arab League Summit, which kicked off in Manama, Bahrain, today, May 16, the Crown Prince noted that Saudi Arabia, during its presidency of the event’s 32nd edition, paid great attention to Arab issues and the development of joint Arab cooperation. It was also keen on common grounds towards regional and international issues.
He further indicated that the Kingdom seeks to achieve security, peace and prosperity in the region and calls for resolving all conflicts in a peaceful manner.
Meanwhile, he stated, “We are confident that the political and security challenges the Arab region is witnessing will not hinder the continuation of our joint efforts to confront these challenges and moving forward to continue the process of development and sustainable development in a way that brings prosperity to our Arab countries and achieves their hopes and aspirations.”
