JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi discussed a number of Arab and Islamic issues during their meeting in Jeddah on Monday. They reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East, and the efforts being exerted to address them. Topics related to the security and stability of the region were also figured in their talks. Their meeting was held during an iftar banquet at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. During the meeting, the leaders reviewed the close and historic bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further enhance them across various fields. At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince welcomed the Egyptian president to his second country, the Kingdom, while El-Sisi thanked the Crown Prince for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet for Shoura Council Affairs Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed; Head of the Presidency of General Intelligence Khalid Al-Humaidan, and the Egyptian president’s accompanying delegation. Later, El-Sisi was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
