The Council of Ministers approved today, Jan. 13, in a session chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, exemptions for certain franchisors and franchisees from specific Commercial Franchise Law requirements.

The exemptions will follow criteria outlined in the decision, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The council also approved several memorandums of understanding across multiple sectors.
