Balady’s new facility will bring daily production capacity to 700,000 birds

Balady Poultry Co. inked on Aug. 24 a contract with Mohammed Abdul Rahman Farhat Contracting Co, to establish a poultry slaughterhouse in Wadi Al-Dawasir at a total value of SAR 98 million, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The slaughterhouse will have a daily production capacity of 500,000 birds and will bring Balady’s daily production capacity to 700,000 birds.
The contract duration will extend for 10 months, and the new facility aligns with Balady future expansion strategy, representing a step towards providing the highest quality poultry meat at the lowest possible economic cost.
The relevant financial impactcannotbe determined at present, and any material updates will be duly disclosed.
The deal included no related parties, the statement added.
